This was my first time purchasing a home. I cannot say enough positive things about Brandon and Meagan. They made the process so extremely simple and were very diligent about getting everything done efficiently. (we had a 30 day closing)
I came into this not knowing a lot about the process. Brandon was always there to answer any questions I had and always made sure I understood every part of the process.

Jay and his team were easy to work with, professional and communicative at every point of the process, and funded my loan on time as expected. Outside of that, it's nice to have a professional relationship with a lender where I don't have to have all of the ideas. Jay's a pro and has a large tool bag of options for home buyers and investors. He and his team are more than the usual order taker that I have experienced with lenders in past purchases.

I would not recommend this company. I did not have a good experience.
I had about 4 or 5 issues. most being around the company not doing what I needed and asked. misleading in a few cases. I don't want to go back and forth. but I will explain my current issue. on jan 29 email and then on the jan 30th response from terri. I asked if there would be ppp fee for paying extra principal. I was told no. I am currently being charged a ppp fee when I pay extra on my balance.

We recently closed our home with a bridge loan from Hurst Lending. Jay and his team was a breath of fresh air and absolute pleasure to work with. Their approval process is straight forward and simple. Jay is always available to take a call or answer any question. In 8 years of home ownership with multiple refinancing and HELOCs, we have never had this painless experience ever before as we did with Hurst and that includes Rocket Mortgage, Wells Fargo, Citizens Bank. I'm an out of state investor and have closed 3 properties with Hurst Lending this year. They offer a wide range of products/options to fit various lending needs. Jay is very knowledgeable and I appreciate that he is always willing to run through what my best options are for different deals and scenarios. His partners on the legal side of things are also awesome. I had a very tight timeframe to close on my last deal to avoid a large private money fee, which I didn't think was honestly doable, but they all worked together to got it done! From start to finish Hurst Lending is great to work with and has you covered!

To say this lender wasted my time is an absolute understatement. Over two weeks passed Ive submitted an application and all necessary documentation, had my credit pulled unnecessarily and waited as they slowly processed my paperwork (because apparently they were short staffed) just to say my property isn’t eligible because of an assumption. (Not to mention they’ve had the address the entire time and could’ve done any verifications they felt were deemed necessary). I expected much more based off all of the positive reviews I’ve read about this company. Never again

Highly recommend Hurst Lending for your next home loan. We’ve worked with Jay and team a couple of times now and they have quickly become our go to loan provider. The process was very easy. Tony walked us through it step by step. Now my wife and I can use the equity in our home to purchase the lot for our dream home. Much easier than getting a land loan. I have used Hurst lending 3 times over the past 10 years for 2 mortgages and 1 bridge loan. I also got a mortgage from BofA during this time, never again! Hurst Lending is quick, efficient, and makes the process easy compared to a conventional bank..

Here recently I finalized an investment refinance loan while working with Tony Severance. I had a great experience working with Tony as he constantly keep me updated through out the loan process. Overall a seamless process from beginning to end with our timeline staying on track. Plans are to continue to work with Hurst Lending / Tony on any future lending opportunities.

Jay seemed uninterested in processing our pre-approval from beginning to end. Emails were very brief and unprofessional. We uploaded over 20 documents for him to process and he managed half of them in 22 days. I felt we gave a lot of allowances and, when I asked when this process can be completed considering the timeline thus far, he was very flippant with his response. Very unimpressed, we canceled our pre-approval and are moving forward with another lender.

This was an incredible experience! We have had quite a few mortgages, and this was by far the easiest and most seamless experience we have had. Hurst Lending was as personally involved and invested in our home buying process as we were. They went out of their way to help us at every step. We are novice home buyers and Jay and Carey would stop and answer our (very basic) questions at a moments notice. They took the time to make complex terms understandable and a lot less intimidating. Because we are currently in such a strong seller’s market, when we put in our offer, the seller’s realtor was not convinced. Jay personally called him and explained to him that we were making an excellent offer. Hurst Lending’s use of technology enabled us to sign all the necessary documents wherever we happened to be. We couldn’t have made this purchase without Hurst Lending. Customer service at its best.

My husband and I decided to refinance our house and take advantage of the current low-interest rates. My father-in-law recommended Hurst Lending as he had just closed on his refinance using Hurst Lending and was very pleased. The Hurst Lending team (Scott & Jennifer) was exceptional in their knowledge and dedicated efforts in helping us refinance our home. They were extremely responsive, transparent, and communicative. I also appreciated being able to do everything digitally and even having a notary sent to our house for closing. This made it a super easy and pain-free process.

Hurst Lending is phenomenal!!! I do not typically write reviews, but felt compelled to share how wonderful our experience was with Jay, Megan, and the Hurst Lending team. I work in the mortgage business and have firsthand knowledge of how the process “should” work as I get the benefit of seeing good and bad lenders on a daily basis. Hurst Lending is not only efficient (closed our purchase in less than 20 days), but honest and with super competitive pricing. We received awesome loan terms and our final docs were 100% the same terms as quoted and promised.
